N E W S

Next weeks meeting will be on Wednesday at 7:00 at AMF bowling ally right across the freeway from castle park. All scouts need to bring $4.00 and any extra money they want for food. Dress is class B. The event will last about 2 hours. Scouts will not be picked up or dropped off at the meeting place, therefore scout will need there own transportation to go to bowling ally.

The PLC is being moved to Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 at Drew's house.

OLD  N E W S
The hike on June 19th was ,for the most part, a success for Troop 421 and Troop 121. The hike was about 21/2 miles in and 21/2 out. It took 2 hours to get in and 30 mins to get out; plans are in action to get the guys moving and shorten the time it takes going in. Tommy from Troop 121 will be all right, he has 7 stitches and a broken wrist. Both Troops are changing the activities that will occur during outings so that no further accidents, like this, will happen. Our next hike will be on June 16 and everyone will be carrying heaver packs to get ready for philmont.
